Ticket Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase and redemption of tickets ("Tickets") for events organized by Storybook Soirees LLC ("Organizer"). By presenting a ticket for entry into the event, you ("Ticket Holder") agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Ticket Purchase and Refund Policy

1.1 Refund Policy: Ticket purchases are final. However, Ticket Holders may receive a full refund (minus non-refundable Eventbrite fees) if the event is canceled or otherwise not fully performed; or the event is postponed and a new date is not selected within 90 days of the postponement.

1.2 Non-Refundable Fees: Please note that Eventbrite fees associated with Ticket purchases are non-refundable under any circumstances. 

1.3 Ticket Authenticity: Only tickets purchased directly through Eventbrite will be accepted onsite. Resold, duplicate, replicated, or otherwise unauthorized tickets may not be honored.

2. Liability

2.1 Incidental Damages: The Ticket Holder assumes all responsibility for their actions at the event. The Ticket Holder is liable for any incidental damages caused by their actions, including but not limited to damage to property or harm to others.

2.2 Personal Injury and Over Service of Alcohol: Storybook Soirees LLC shall not be liable for any injuries or damages resulting from the normal expected activities related to the ticketed event, including but not limited to overservice of alcohol. Ticket Holders accept personal responsibility for their behavior and consumption of alcohol.

2.3 To the extent permitted by law, Ticket Holder hereby releases, covenants not to sue, discharges and holds harmless Organizer, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, and costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating to the Event, including all claims of Organizer’s negligence.

3. Code of Conduct

3.1 General Conduct: Ticket Holders agree to adhere to a general code of conduct at the event. The Code of Conduct is outlined in Exhibit A. 

3.2 Enforcement: The Organizer reserves the right to remove any Ticket Holder from the event who violates this code of conduct without a refund.

4. Personal Safety

4.1 Responsibility for Personal Safety: Ticket Holders are responsible for their own safety and well-being during the event. By attending, they acknowledge the inherent risks associated with the event and accept responsibility for any personal injury that may occur.

5. Likeness

5.1 Release: Ticket Holder grants irrevocable permission to Organizer to use, publish, distribute and/or modify Ticket Holder's image, likeness, voice, actions and statements in any medium including audio, video, or images of the event for any purpose without further authorization or compensation, and waives all claims and potential claims relating to such use unless prohibited by law.

6. Governing Law

6.1 Applicable Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the event is held.

7. Acceptance of Terms

7.1 Agreement: By purchasing a Ticket, the Ticket Holder acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Exhibit A: Code of Conduct

Event Code of Conduct

At Storybook Soirees LLC, we are committed to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees. By participating in our event, you agree to adhere to the following code of conduct:

1. Respect and Inclusivity

  • Treat all attendees, staff, and performers with respect and kindness, regardless of their background.

  • Harassment of any kind—whether physical, verbal, or otherwise—will not be tolerated.

2. Appropriate Behavior

  • Engage in behavior that fosters a positive atmosphere. Disruptive actions, including excessive noise or inappropriate language, are not permitted.

3. Dress Code

  • Attendees are expected to follow an appropriate dress code as determined by the Organizer. Outfits should be respectful and suitable for the event.

4. Alcohol Consumption

  • Alcohol should be consumed responsibly. Ensure that your actions remain respectful to fellow attendees and the venue.

  • Be aware of your limits, and do not engage in behavior that could be harmful to yourself or others.

5. Weapons Policy

  • No weapons of any kind are permitted at the event. This includes both real and prop weapons, unless prop weapons are easily identifiable as such.

6. Personal Belongings

  • Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. The Organizer is not liable for any lost or stolen items.

7. Health and Safety

  • Adhere to any health and safety guidelines in place at the event, including hygiene practices and any current health protocols.

8. Emergency Procedures

  • Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and procedures for the event venue. Report any emergencies to event staff immediately.

9. Conflict Resolution

  • If you experience or witness any inappropriate behavior, please report it to event staff for resolution.

10. Accessibility

  • We strive to make our events accessible to everyone. If you require accommodations, please inform event staff ahead of time.
